Removing sitemaps.xml & robots.txt from the SERPs


How do you remove sitemaps.xml or robots.txt from the index. Sometimes they find their way into the SERPs , and could possibly mess with your site rankings. As your sitemap.xml file is basically just a big bag of links, you probably don’t want your customers stumbling across it.
